Book Covers

Scriptum is a publishing house based in Oradea with a catalogue spanning memoir, theology, parenting, and self-help. Over the past few years I've designed more than sixty covers for them — each one its own miniature brand.

Every project starts from the manuscript: who is this writer, what does the reader need to feel before they open the book, and which single image earns a place on the shelf next to a hundred others? From there it's typography, photography or illustration direction, and a print-ready file the press can run without a second proof.
